At CCGBE, we focus on the research areas Corporate Citizenship, Business Ethics, Corporate Governance and Business Strategy. As with other leading Business Schools, Business Ethics has been integrated into the curriculum at the University of Applied Sciences for Management & Communication. This is underpinned by high quality research at the Center for Corporate Governance & Business Ethics (CGBE). CGBE also supports the advancement of interdisciplinary cooperation – in particular between economics, management and philosophy – as well as in public debates and dialog with the practicing professions on contemporary topics in the field of Corporate Governance & Business Ethics. As our projects often require interdisciplinary approaches involving active exchanges with a range of national and international industry partners, we work in close collaboration with leading Austrian and international companies or internationally renowned universities such as the University of St. Gallen, Leibniz University of Hannover or the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
