Michael Hummel, B.A.
Michael Hummel, B.A. is a research assistant at the Center for Corporate Governance and Business Ethics and a Master’s student in Financial Management and Controlling at the University of Applied Sciences for Management & Communication. In 2015, he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management. Michael started his career back in 1998 in the gastronomy sector and achieved several management positions in Vienna’s upper upscale hotels through the years until 2012, when he decided to return to academic education. His research interests include quantitative research, with a focus on strategic corporate development under recognition of responsible business behavior. Michael supports the research of the “City of Vienna Competence Team for Sustainable, Strategic and Opportunity-Oriented Management of SMEs” at CCGBE.
