Maria Riegler, MSc
Maria Riegler is a research associate at the Center for Corporate Governance and Business Ethics at the University of Applied Sciences for Management & Communication and a PhD candidate at MODUL University Vienna. Her current research focuses on the drivers for companies to engage in collective private governance initiatives. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics and Social Sciences and a master’s degree in Socioeconomics from WU Vienna. During her undergraduate studies, she spent an exchange year at Lund University in Sweden. She was a student employee at SERI (Sustainable Europe Research Institute), research associate at ChangeTank Projekt GmbH, project coordinator at a newly-founded educational NGO, and a research intern at ÖIN (Österreichisches Institut für Nachhaltige Entwicklung).
